University Internships (Summer Internships and Co-Ops)
Current university students are encouraged to rise to the challenge! There are opportunities for college sophomores, juniors and seniors for paid, three-month summer internships and co-ops.
To apply, you’ll need a cumulative GPA of 2.75 and enrollment in a recognized program. Internship benefits include limited participation in the Black & Veatch Retirement Program, paid holidays, housing assistance, and book and tuition reimbursement programs for graduating seniors.
Pre-College Activities
Black & Veatch supports the following programs that equip tomorrow’s leaders with the critical reasoning skills to solve problems.
Future City is a project-based learning experience for middle school students. Participants use SimCity™ planning software as they compete in designing model cities. They learn from teachers and engineer mentors in a team setting.
FIRST Robotics is an international high school robotics competition. Each year, student teams compete by building robots that can complete tasks.
