The internationally renowned MEGA Symposium returns in 2012 to address issues related to power plant air emissions through the combined efforts of four key industry players – the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), and the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA).
By showcasing the latest developments and operational experience with air pollution controls from fossil-fired power plants in light of the evolving environmental regulatory directions, the ninth MEGA Symposium will update seasoned professionals and provide an excellent learning experience for early career engineers. The focus will be on state-of-the-art methods for reducing SOx, NOx, CO2, particulate, mercury, and other hazardous air pollutant emissions. Attendees can receive Professional Development Hour credits.
