Our purpose come to life
At Black & Veatch, our purpose of Building a World of Difference® isn’t confined to the sustainable critical human infrastructure we proudly deliver around the globe. It’s also about giving to better lives and bolster the communities where we live and work — and beyond.
We like to think of it as good people doing good things.
We adhere to the definition of sustainability as meeting the present generation’s needs while improving the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. To that end, our Black & Veatch Foundation is a platform for the company and its professionals to support charitable, impactful programs, projects and partnerships that drive measurable social progress, align with Black & Veatch’s purpose and values and build on its deep history of community involvement and impact. The results speak for themselves: the foundation has donated tens of millions of dollars in grants and matching gifts — because it’s simply the right thing to do.
