Our Engineering Technician Accelerator Program is a designed to give enrollees training on technical drawing concepts and to help them develop skills using computer-based drafting tools, such as AutoCAD and Revit. Program participants will gain knowledge and skill development focused on targeted solutions such as renewables, grid and electric vehicle (EV) charging. The program is three to six months, and upon successful completion professionals will transition to an Engineering Technician 1 position.

Candidate Requirements
High school diploma or certificate
Ability to operate a PC using Windows OS. Exposure to Microsoft Office and/or computer graphics programs a plus
Geospatial aptitude
Work effectively in a team environment
Verbal and written communication skills (bilingual a plus)
Ability to be in Kansas City for three weeks of training with occasional travel after, if needed
