The Subiya Water Distribution Complex project serves to address increased demands on the availability of potable water and reduce reliance on groundwater supply to a sustainable level.
The project provides up to 125 million imperial gallons per day (migd) of potable water to the Subiya New City development and existing water distribution complex. Black & Veatch led design and construction supervision.
The work incorporates chemical treatment facilities, 165 million imperial gallons of potable water storage, a major forwarding pumping station and 375 kilometres of 1200 millimetre diameter pipelines.
