Black & Veatch was contracted by a major confidential technology client to complete the engineering, procurement and construction of modifications to the blend tank in Washington. The city is home to over 60 megawatts of server farms for major data center companies. The city is working with one of these companies to develop an industrial wastewater treatment plant (IRWTP). The IRWTP will ultimately treat the city’s existing IRWTP’s secondary effluent stream to eliminate discharge outfall to the receiving waters.

Black & Veatch added an additional pump for another water source as a modification to the IRWTP project. Scope for this modification included:
