Comprehensive Charrette for Polish EIS Support Facilities

Black & Veatch led an on-site charrette for programming the support facilities for a Polish EIS. Joint inspection of the existing site facilities with both Europe District personnel and Missile Defense Agency representatives preceded the creation of a list of facilities to be used during construction and/or for long-term occupation.

Other participants in the charrette included Polish Army representatives as well as representatives from Installation Management Command (IMCOM) headquarters and IMCOM Europe. Our team then generated an area development plan of the proposed layout with a mix of re-used buildings and new construction, along with a basic level of road and utility infrastructure. Following the on-site work, we refined the layout and generated additional data such as cost estimates and building renderings.
