Overview

Collaborating for greater impact

In addition to our work internally and with our clients, we recognize the importance strong collaboration has in fostering meaningful change. We are building relationships with suppliers, entrepreneurs, solution partners and within our communities to mutually develop novel approaches to sustainability with a focus on magnifying our collective impact to Build a World of Difference.

Supply Chain and Supplier Diversity

We recognize that our greatest opportunity to improve our overall sustainability isn’t just within our operations or on our project sites — it must include our network of thousands of suppliers. To that end, we create sustainability ratings for suppliers and have identified that 38 percent have active sustainability programs.

Our global network of qualified suppliers and subcontractors includes:

  • Small businesses (SBE)

  • Small disadvantaged enterprises (SDB)

  • Minority business enterprises (MBE)

  • Women business enterprises (WBE)

  • HUBZone enterprises

  • Service-disabled veteran business enterprises (SDVBE)

  • Veteran-owned small businesses (VOSB)

  • LGBT business enterprises

  • Historically black colleges and universities and minority institutions (HBCU/MI)

  • National Institute for the Blind/National Institute for the Severely Handicapped (NIB/NISH)

Science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education is more important than ever, given an estimated $40 trillion is needed for global infrastructure solutions in the coming few decades. We’re proud to continue our commitment through growSTEM.

Bringing focus for better results

As we strive for a sustainable future for all, we recognize the critical roles that safety and diversity, equity and inclusion have within our organization and the communities in which our employee-owners live and work. That’s why we have strong company initiatives in these areas to propel impact.
